  3. 4 Tbsp ghee
  4. 2 Tbsp mix of cashew nuts, raisin, almonds, chironji, melon seeds

  7. Pinch salt
  8. 2 cups boiling water

  1. Peel the peas. In a heavy bottomed bowl boil water and add peas. Add pinch of salt and baking soda and on high flame blanch. Baking soda would give colour and sweetness to peas. Drain and add to blender

  3. In a pan heat 1 Tbsp ghee and add mix dry fruits. Roast for 2-3 mins, set aside
  4. In a pan add Jaggery and 1/2 cup water and cook on low flame to dissolve the jaggery, strain for any impurities and set aside for further use
  5. In a pan add 2 Tbsp ghee and add purée, on low flame for 10 mins keep stirring. Add jaggery and continue on low flame to keep stirring
  6. Add roasted dry fruits and keep stirring until there is a glisten on the peas and the peas are a little dark in colour
  7. Add cardamom powder and 1 Tbsp ghee. Mix and set aside
  8. Serve hot
