- 1 cup Avocado pulp
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1 tbsp agar agar powder soack with little water
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 tbsp Milk powder
- For chikki
- 1/2 cup dry roast peanuts (crush)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
- 1 pinch cinnamon powder
- For Decorate-
- 1/2 cup grated beet root
- 2 tbsp Milk powder
- 1 pinch cinnamon powder
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp ghee
Steps to make to make Avocado Halwa
- Scoop the pulp out of the Avocado and churn it in a grinder to prepare a smooth paste.
- Heat ghee in a kadai then pour the Avocado pulp, stir it continuously. Then add sugar, milk, milk powder, cardamom powder and stir it continuously for few minutes. Then add agar agar powder mixture mix well and cook for a minute. Then, refrigerated for 2 hours. Avocado Halwa is ready.
- For Decoration: Dry roast the peanuts for 4 minutes and let it cool for sometime. After it cools down, peel off the skin from the peanuts and crush it. Boil 1/2 cup of water with sugar in it, and make one string sugar syrup, and add cardamom powder cinnamon powder and the peanuts in it mix well, immediatly pour it in a greased pan and spread it like chikki.
- Heat a pan and add grated beet root, 1 tsp ghee, 1 tbsp sugar and stir it for few minutes, like halwa, for garnishing.
- On top of Avocado Halwa, decorate with crushed peanut (chikki) and beet root halwa. Cut it in your desired shape and serve.
