- as per taste Sugar (optional)
- 1 1/2tsp Cumin powder
- 2 tbsp Coriander seeds
- 2 1/2 tbsp Curd
- 1 1/2tsp Black pepper powder
- 1 1/2tsp Garam masala powder
- as required Kasauri methi
- 2-3 tbsp Fresh cream
Steps to make to make Afghani Mutton Gosht
- Roast the coriander seeds and grind to powder.Fry the chopped onions in refined oil.
- Take a pressure cooker. Add refined oil&heat. Now add the mutton and stir until the colour changes to white. Then add the (ginger,garlic& green chili)paste and little salt. Again stir nicely for 5mins. Cover with lid and cook on high flame until the mutton gets tender.
- You can continue the whole cooking in pressure cooker also.
- Now heat a pan. Take out everything from the pressure cooker & put into the pan. Cook on medium to low flame. Add salt as per taste. Add garam masala powder,black pepper powder and cumin powder and mix well. Add tomato puree.Add little sugar if you want. Stir and cover with a lid.Cook for 5mins on low flame.
- Add the fried onions and stir.Beat the curd before adding.Again cover and cook for 5mins.
- Now add the coriander powder and mix well. Add some kasauri methi.(Rub the kasauri methi in between hands for better flavour) Again cover and cook for 5mins.
- Lastly add the fresh cream.Turn off the flame.
