- Roast sesame seeds and grind to a fine powder to make tahini paste.Add roasted garlic, 2 tbsp olive oil,lemon juice,1/2 tsp cumin powder,black pepper powder,1 green chilli and salt to taste.Grind to a semi fine consistency. Now add boiled chickpeas.Add water of boiled chickpeas as needed to make a smooth creamy paste.
- Hummus is now ready to be served.Make a round pattern with a spoon on the hummus.Drizzle some more olive oil,paprika or red chilli powder,roasted cumin powder. Garnish with chopped coriander and some boiled chickpeas.Serve this flavourful dip with falafel,pita bread,steamed or roasted vegetables, or as a spread in sandwiches, burgers or wraps.Refrigerate rest of hummus in an airtight container. Keeps well for 4-5 days.
