  2. 300 g whole wheat flour

  4. as required milk (to knead)
  5. 1 tbsp odourless oil
  6. For filling
  7. 100 g paneer (grated)
  8. 2 medium size potatoes (boiled and grated)
  9. to taste Salt
  10. 1 pinch turmeric powder
  11. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  12. 1pinch black pepper powder
  13. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  14. 1/4 tsp ajwain
  15. as required Ghee/ butter/ oil for roasting
  16. as required (Chopped coriander leaves, green chillies, grated ginger,
  17. as required amchoor powder can be added)

  1. In a mixing bowl, put wheat flour and salt. Mix. Next add milk at room temperature gradually and knead a semi soft dough. Next on the dough put oil, knead again, cover and keep aside for resting for 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile in another mixing bowl, take grated paneer, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and black pepper powder. Add boiled potatoes.
  3. Put ajwain and mix all very well. Filling is ready. Filling must not be soggy. (It's better to grate the boiled potatoes).
  4. After dough resting, knead it again. It must have become softer after resting. Now divide the dough into equal portions. Take one portion and keep rest covered. Roll the portion.
  5. Put a good amount of filling on the rolled dough. Cover from all sides and seal it.
  6. Next dust some dry atta and roll into a paratha.
  7. Side by side the tawa is heated. Put the paratha and roast it at medium heat. Roast with oil/ ghee/ butter till it crispy and golden brown.
  8. It's ready!! Serve hot with pickle and curd.. enjoy!!
