Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Avocado Sandwich:
- 1 Avocado Ripe
- 1/2 Chopped onion
- as per taste Salt
- 1 tbsp Oregano
- 1/2 tbsp Chilli Flakes (which we use in pizza making)
- 1/4 tbsp or Pepper Powder
- 1 Lemon
- 1/4 tbsp Chaat masala
- 1/4 tbsp Garam Masala powder
- as required Brown bread or regular bread(4 slices for 2 sandwich)
- as needed Butter or Ghee
- as per need Green coriander/ any sandwich chutney (4 tbsp)
Instructions to make to make Avocado Sandwich
- Take a ripe avocado & Cut it into pieces.Now mash it properly to make a smooth avocado paste.you can even grind into mixer if you want.
- Add chopped onions to it.Make sure onions are finely chopped.
- Add salt,Garam masala & Chaat masala to avocado mixture. If you prefer more spicy then you can add upto half tpsp garam masala.but for kids 1/4 tbsp is generally enough.
- Now add 1/2 tbsp oregano and some chilli flakes(up to half tbsp). If you want to add some spice level then instead of chilli flakes add pepper powder 1/4 tbsp. Either add pepper powder or for mild taste go with chilli flakes. Avoid using both of them.
- Finally add few drops of lemon.It is totally optional. If you want to avoid using lemon you can do that. Chaat masala that we add will balance that tangy flavour.
- Mix all the things together & avocado stuffing is ready.
- Take two brown bread slice. Apply butter on it. Now add Green corriander_chilly chutney or any sandwich chutney on it.
- Take a slice and spread avocado stuffing on to it.Put another slice on to it.& press gently.Do not overstuff the filling.
- Heat a tawa or grill pan on medium heat. Spread ghee or butter & put sandwich on tawa. Roast it until golden brown. Repeat the same on other side as well.
- Cut the sandwich on slices & serve with ketch up.
