  3. 1/4 tsp ajwain,
  4. 2 tbsp oil,
  5. For Filling....
  6. 1 cup besan,
  7. 1/2 tsp haldi powder,
  8. 1 tsp red chilli powder,
  9. . 1 tsp dhania powder,
  10. 1/2 tsp saunf powder,
  11. 1/2 tsp amchur powder,
  12. to taste, . Salt
  13. 1/2 cup chopped onion,
  14. 3 green chilli chopped,
  15. as needed Some chopped dhania patta,
  16. 1 tbsp desi ghee,
  17. As required Oil or desi ghee for frying,

Instructions to make to make Besan Paratha

  1. Take a pan, add besan, dry roast it on moderate flame.
  2. Add haldi, dhania & red chilli powder, mix it well. Add salt also.
  3. Dry roast besan until light brown. Turn off the flame, take out in a bowl,allow it to cool down.
  4. Now add all the ingredients one by one. Mix it nicely. Add desi ghee, again mix it thoroughly. Keep aside.
  5. Knead a soft dough with all given ingredients, brush some oil over it.
  6. Take small portions of dough, make balls.
  7. Roll it, make small roti, fill it with 1 tsp filling. Fold it, seal the edges.
  8. Pat it with your fingers, just check filling does not spill.
  9. Roll it very gently, make a med sized Paratha.
  10. Heat a non-stick tawa or iron tawa, brush some oil, place Paratha onto it. Bake both side until light brown.
  11. Now brush oil or ghee over the Paratha, cook it until one side becomes brown.
  12. Flip it, cook it in the same manner.
  13. Take out in a serving dish bhi, have it with any Raita or Chutney.
