- For the first marination, in a bowl, put these chicken, add 1 tbsp of ginger-garlic paste,1 tsp of salt, 2 tsp og lemon juice and mix it well and set aside for 30 mins.
- To prepare 2nd marination,take another bowl add 5 tbsp of yogurt,1/8 tsp of Turmeric,1/2 tsp of Cumin powder,1/2 tsp of Garam masala,1/2 tsp of Javithiri,5 tbsp of Kashmiri chilli powder,1/2 tsp of kasurimethi,1/8 of salt, 2.5 tbsp of oil,1/8 of red color.
- Whisk everything together and then add the marinated chicken pieces without water that has released from chicken.Mix everything well so that all the chicken tikka pieces are well coated and marinated.Set aside for 3-4 hrs in refridgerator.
- Keep it in room temperature for 1 more hr before skewering & placing in the oven
- Skewer the marinated chicken tikkas on a metal skewer 4 at a time
- Preheat the oven/OTG to 250 degrees C
- Lay the skewers in baking tray.
- Roast for 10 mins at 250 degree C.After 10 mins turn the chicken tikkas.Roast for another 10 mins at 250 degree C.
- Remove and baste with melted butter/oil
- Reduce the oven temperature to 200 degree C
- Roast for 7-8 mins at 200 degree C. Flip the chicken and continue basting with melted butter.
- Finally roast for another 6-7 mins at 200 degree C. Remove the tray once the edges of the chicken are lightly charred
- Garnish it with lemon,Onion and mint chutney. Serve it as appetizer.
