- 1 tsp Coriander Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Fennel Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 Small Cinnamon Stick
- 1 Cardamom
- 2 Cloves
- 1 Dried Red Chilli
- 1 Sprig Curry Leaves
- Other Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Crushed Ginger and Garlic
- 1 Onion (Chopped)
- 1 Green Bell Pepper (Chopped)
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- To Taste Salt
- 200 gms Malai Paneer
- 1 Sprig Curry Leaves (For Garnish)
- 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves (For Garnish)
Steps to make to make Paneer Pepper Fry
- Firstly, add all the ingredients mentioned under "For Roasting and Grinding" in a pan and roast on low flame for a minute. Remove on a plate and allow it to cool down.
- Add the roasted spices in a blender and blend into powder and set aside.
- Soak the paneer in hot salted water for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, cut into small cubes and set aside. Keep the curry leaves and coriander leaves ready for garnishing.
- Crush the ginger and garlic and set aside. Chop the onion and bell pepper and set aside.
- Heat oil in a kadhai. Add the crushed ginger garlic and saute till the raw smell leaves.
- Add the chopped onion and green bell pepper and saute it well. Add turmeric powder and salt.
- Add the ground spice powder and mix it well.
- Now add the paneer cubes. Mix gently and stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes on low flame.
- Garnish with curry leaves and coriander leaves. Mix well. Saute for a minute and off the flame.
- Tasty Paneer Pepper Fry is ready. A perfect dry dish. Serve hot with rotis or rice accompanied with dal, curd tadka or any vegetarian dish.
