- Dry roast all the ingredients. For sesame powder dry roast sesame n red chilies. Cook rice with 1tsp turmeric powder.
- Dry roast dry coconut powder. Let the mixture cool and make a fine powder. Take a Kadai to take 1tbsp oil. Add 1tbsp groundnuts n fry.
- Then add mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, red chilies, green chilies, jeera, hing, curry leaves n saute till dals turn golden. Add tamarind juice, grinded mixture to the Kadai. Add jaggery, sesame powder n let the mixture cook for some time. Add 2tsp salt too.
- After few minutes add cooked rice to it n mix well n cook on low flame. After 5 min switch off the flame.
